The Fort No.12 in The Wood
[Kindle]
- A juvenile story I wrote in 1997.
In my childhood, one of the most exciting things was making "Kichi," that means "Fort" or "Hideaway."
Maybe you have had your own "Kichi," haven't you? Especially if you're a boy, I'm sure you have.
"The Fort No.12 in The Wood" is a story about 11-year-old boy named Naoki, who moves from a town to another town, because of his father's job. He is a cheerful boy and can make many friends everywhere. But separation is soon coming.
That's one reason Naoki loved making Kichi. Kichi is his own space nobody knows, so he is in peace and happiness in it even if there are no friends else.
One day, in a new town his family moved to, Naoki discovered a strange cave. In the cave, he found a lot of curious stones --- stones which can change their shapes, stones which shine and illuminate surroundings, stones which can get a fever and warmth---. What do you think he dose with these strange stones, and what will happen in the cave???
When I was just a kid, I didn't know so many people in the world enjoy making "Kichi." A tree house with hammock was AAA KIchi, I thought they exist only in a novels or comics.
Though, the most cool Kichi in the world history was the one I built when I was 11-year-old. I reformed unused space of my father's warehouse, and made a special wide and comfortable (...and quite dusty) private secret Kichi!!
HaHaHa, sorry guys, I am the champion.

Trattoria Hamaya
[Kindle]
- Near the beach in a small town, there was an old Japanese warehouse with white mud wall.
Some guys renovated it to a trattoria, a small and friendly restaurant for the neighborhood and university students.
Cheap and delicious. The trattoria is now becoming popular in the town.
But there is a secret.
The stout owner, handsome cheff, naughty servers of the trattoria was all --- gays!
A LGBT comedy I wrote in 1999.

The Day It Rained
- A short story based on my own high school days. Thankfully, it was recognized by a publisher and it appeared in a magazine. The magazine let me write some other short stories and bought them. My career as a novelist seemed to start quite smoothly. But... As you know, Things aren't so easy in the real world. Gosh.

My Writing History
- When I was 5-year-old, I wrote my first essay. Maybe it was so childish one, but the nursery school teachers praised for it so much, I was very proud and pleased.
When 7-year-old, I began to write something like stories. The examinations in school was so boring for me, so I used to draw pictures or write stories on the reverse side of the exam.
When 17, I got an early Word Processor. I can't forget how it was exciting to see my writing printed out in type. In my high school days, I used to write short short stories (I loved Fredric Brown!) with it and let some of my friends read them in turn.
It was 26-year-old when I began to write real novels. That is "The Day It Rained," in the left column.
I used to love, and still love short stories.

Game Scenarios
Midnight Taxi
- INAGAWA Junji is a Japanese horror storyteller.

I don't know how many game discs were sold (Maybe not so many), but I still love the 10 short horrors I wrote.

Games for Cellular

Compass Classic Readers
- I have translated some classic novels abridged for students, such as "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, "Treasure Island" by R. L. Stevenson, "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne.
Of course I had read these novels before, but in translating these works' every sentence, every word the author chose and wrote down, I had learned a lot about "writing" as a writer.

Franky's Diary
- A scenario for an English listening CD.
Frank is a high school student who loves basketball. One day he moved to SanFrancisco and entered a new high school basketball team, where he met a charming girl Clare and a very skilled but unfriendly boy Mark. ...
I enjoyed this work as if I were younger and living an awkward but fresh life.
